Electricity has made a great influence on our living since the industrial revolution in the eighteenth century. However, can you imagine a world without electricity? As we get up in the morning, there is no television to inform us of recent news. Neither do we have a toaster to provide us with an enjoyable breakfast. After going to work in an extreme hurry due to the impossible taking of public transportation, we strike for a living for at least eight hours in one hot summer day without air-conditioner's help. Eventually, we go back to our homes exhaustedly and fall to bed in a totally dark room. What do you think of this kind of world?


Although human being has caused a great damage to environment, for instance, almost running out of the ancient fossil energy, we are still not capable of making up our minds to stop using electricity since it offers so much convenience to us. As a result, we cannot tell whether using electricity is good or not. The only thing we should always keep in mind is that we had better use it in a moderate way for nature and for our descendants.
